Elida Island

Elida Island has two houses for rent for weekends, weeks, or months. One is called "Claire" and the other "Lili Marlene," both on the point of the island with the same name, with the San Antonio Angosto River in front and the Marchini Stream behind. Each house is located on its own lot and Elida Island has 80 meters of coastline on the river.

Both houses offer suites for up to four people with views of the river. Within the suite, there are two bedrooms, a living room/dining room, a kitchen and a bathroom. One of the bedrooms has a double bed and the other, two single beds. The kitchen features 2 burners for cooking, a refrigerator, silverware, utensils, and cleaning products. The bathroom has a separate hot water heater. Sheets, towels and blankets are all provided. There is also a fan and electric and gas heating, spring water dispensers and a radio and books. A wharf, to pass the time, is close by.

Because the houses are located in the Zona Tres Bocas, whose islands are connected by bridges and footbridges that pass over the water, one can easily walk to the markets, bakeries, and restaurants, which include ¨La Riviera," "El Hornero" and "El Remanso."

Grocery Store El Picaflor: The grocery boat (see the photo) "El Picaflor" sells all the goods that you are sure to need including: vegetables, meat and bread. You can dock at our wharf every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday, before 1pm, and every day except Monday in the summer. If you will be arriving in the afternoon or evening and you let us know ahead of time, you can arrange for us to leave supplies of your choice in your room.

Walks throughout the Zona Tres Bocas, information about the rivers Sarmiento, Falso San Antonio, Arroyo Marchini, Arroyos La Perla, Santa Rosa and Abra Vieja. Trekking on the Bigua Circuit (A two- hour hike on footpaths that follow the rivers and that cross highest point on the island.) Canoe and oar rental for the Arroyo Santa Rosa.No fishing in Isla Elida, but you can observe and feed fishes from the wharf.
